How Engines Are Packed

  • Oil and coolant are drained before dispatch so nothing leaks in transit.
  • Open ports, the intake and the flywheel housing are sealed and covered.
  • The engine is bolted into a steel mounting frame or cradle so it can be moved by forklift at both ends.
  • The reference number is marked on the crate and matches the number on your invoice.
  • Every shipment is insured for the invoice value and tracked door to door.

Collection From Our Yard

You are welcome to collect from Industrieweg 1, Netherlands. There is HGV access and forklift loading on site, so a flatbed, van or trailer is all you need. Book a collection slot with the engine desk and wait for the "ready for collection" confirmation before travelling — engines are only released once they are crated and the paperwork is signed. Collection hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00, Saturday 08:00 - 13:00.

Receiving the Delivery

  • Someone must be on site with a forklift or crane to take the pallet off the truck. Tail-lift delivery cannot be assumed for a full engine.
  • Check the crate before you sign. Note any visible damage on the carrier's paperwork.
  • Photograph transit damage and tell us within 48 hours so we can claim against the carrier.
  • Keep the steel frame and packaging — you need them to return the core and reclaim the deposit.

What the Lines on Your Invoice Mean

Core charge

A refundable amount added to the invoice against your old engine. Send the old unit back drained and complete on the same pallet and we refund the core charge in full. If the block is cracked or major components are missing we refund a reduced amount, and we tell you the figure before processing it.

Engine-mount deposit

A separate refundable deposit on the steel mounting frame the engine travels in. Return the frame with the core — or hand it to the driver on a return collection — and the deposit is credited back to you.

Freight

Quoted per engine and per destination, because weight and destination both matter on a 1,000 kg pallet. You will always see the freight figure before you pay. Collection removes it entirely.

VAT and Intra-EU Sales

  • Prices on the site are shown in euros excluding VAT unless the listing says otherwise.
  • Customers in Netherlands are invoiced with local VAT added at the standard rate.
  • Business customers in another EU member state with a valid, VIES-verified intra-EU VAT number are invoiced at 0% VAT and account for the VAT themselves under the reverse-charge rules.
  • Consumers buying from another EU member state are charged VAT in line with EU distance-selling rules.
  • Shipments outside the EU leave VAT-free against proof of export; any import duty and tax at the destination is payable by the buyer.

Worth Knowing

  • Transit times are estimates. Ferry crossings, border checks and carrier capacity can move them by a day.
  • A complete truck engine weighs between roughly 700 kg and 1,300 kg. Please confirm you can unload it.
  • Remote regions, islands and mountain routes can add 1-2 working days.
  • Remanufactured engines built to order ship once the build is finished — we confirm the build time when you enquire.
  • We can hold an engine at the yard for a short period if your workshop slot is later; just tell the desk.
